Simulated Blood Typing

Students use a simulated blood typing kit to identify the ABO and Rh blood groups of synthetic blood samples. The activity demonstrates how agglutination reactions work in real blood typing while remaining completely safe.

1. Purchase and use a simulated blood typing kit.
2. Follow the kit instructions to test synthetic blood samples with synthetic anti-A, anti-B, and anti-Rh sera.
3. Observe the agglutination (clumping) reactions to determine each blood type.
4. Record the blood types for each of the provided samples.
